QUALITY SURFBOARDS BY JONNO COLE

DIRTY DANCER

The 80’s thruster is a great choice as a small wave performance weapon! Often overlooked and replaced with  a fish or other wide and flat arrangement, these boards have all the float and projection of a regular groveller with added style and flow.

Key (80’s Style) elements:

  • Belly channels that feed into a spiral Vee, allowing the water to be pulled under the feet and split through the fins

  • A boxy rail coming off a flat deck

  • Squash tail and beaked nose

  • Great for hacks, carves and linking together sections in otherwise gutless/ lacklustre surf

  • Great for Indo/Aus and beyond on all the small days

  • Also available in a single flyer, swallow tail twin fin version.

FOR REFERENCE: I ride a 6’0 x 19 1/2 x 2 1/2 - 34.5L and I’m 6 ft, 80 kgs
